Have teen girls and boys become each other’s porn? What about these websites that flash naked pictures and then erase them? Is it really true teenage boys are the largest consumer of internet porn? What are “rainbow parties”? With the internet freely accessible, sex is literally a keystroke away. Rachel Fiske will talk about these issues and more. She will cover how you can help support your daughter to decide when the right time is for her to have sex and with whom. Rachel’s approach to sexuality is that our bodies are the home for our spirit, and that sex is a reverent act.
Rachel leads mother-daughter groups to help engender conscious relationships as well as to teach girls to hear and honor their inner voice. For seven years, she worked in association with Chicago’s The Berman Center and The Center for Mindful Living as a consultant to couples in crisis or those needing to strengthen their sex life. She has been a yoga teacher for nineteen years and is the mother of a vibrantly hormonal 17-year-old daughter. Together they are co-authoring the book MoonBeams: Lighting up Your Mother-Daughter Relationship.
